80 Day Obsession - Week 6

"Keep your squats low and your standards high." -Unknown

Phase 2 - Week 2 of 80 Day Obsession is complete! I was half hoping Week 2 would be a little 'easier' than Week 1, but it wasn't. Every single day was a challenge. I did go up in my weights, gradually, through each workout since there were 3 rounds of 10 reps. Cardio Flow is still brutal. Just plain brutal, haha. I literally have to give myself a pep talk before each Cardio Flow day because the workout itself is mentally and physically challenging - a good challenge. 40+ minutes of straight, pure cardio is a challenge in itself. I do love all of the different moves though. I did make a list of the different moves for days when I'm limited on time, I can bypass Autumn and the cast talking to finish the workout faster. By the end of this workout, my leg muscles are usually on fire.

I think my favorite workouts in Phase 2 are Total Body Cardio and AAA. The moves are fun and challenging. My heart rate doesn't always get up to where I'd like it to be during these two workouts for whatever reason, so I usually start with a 1-2 mile run or 15-20 minute HIIT on the treadmill as a warm up. I've found that if I do a treadmill warm up, my heart rate stays up throughout the workouts.

All of my workouts this week were done in the morning, right when I wake up. I am, unfortunately, running low on my Energize (pre-workout) though so I'll be ordering more today. I'm also on the fence about signing up as a Coach again. I have a natural passion for helping people, but I'm a little hesitant as I'm kind of "on my own" with that. The last time I signed up, I was eager and ready to go... then I realized I wasn't being provided with all of the tools I needed to succeed. I wasn't invited to team calls, didn't do the goals meeting that was shown in Day 1 of training, and a couple other things. This frustrated me and I ended up quitting/taking a break to reevaluate everything. After a break and a bit of research, I'm ready to get back in the saddle. Boom!

Workouts (3 sets of 10 reps)
Day 33: Booty
Day 34: Cardio Core
Day 35: Total Body Cardio
Day 36: Legs
Day 37: AAA
Day 38: Cardio Flow {Major love/hate relationship with this...}
Sunday: Rest Day

All of my workout clothes are from Target or Marshals. All of my headbands are from The.Be.Brand and they are amazeballs! Seriously! These are the only headbands I've ever found that stay in place while working out. They're also cute to wear out and about with your outfit.
